An optimist always notices a positive aspect in every situation. I believe a positive aspect in a rainy day could be clothing in a bright color. It definitely cheers up the day and the optimist's mood. It even could distract the optimist's attention from the rain, until the rain is no longer noticed. Oddly enough, the raindrops stop falling and the sun comes out at the moment the optimist ignores the negative -rain- and focusses on the positive -color-.
I believe in optimism and positive thinking..Following this line of thoughts, I think the bright blue blazer is perfect at the moment. The Dutch weather in August is
a little cold and wet, to say the least, so you could see this outfit as an attempt to brave the cold and keep the summerfeeling at the same time.
