Fun Fact: Happpy Easter and Happpy Passover! Hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday weekend filled with yummy dinners and amazing fun with family and friends! We are still wearing fringe big time and can't seem to stop rockin' it! Anyone else having a fringe obsession!? I wanted to mix it up with a little bit of an Austin Powers look...groovy baby!

Beckerman x H&M Collaboration: Fashion Against Aids and Giveaway!

We have collaborated with H&M to debut the launch of their new "Fashion Against Aids Collection!" This is H&M's fifth "Fashion Against Aids" collection to raise funds and create awareness about HIV/AIDS and we were so obsessed with all of their other FAA collections that we couldn't wait to try everything on! This collection is filled with soooo many amazing tribal prints, vibrant colours, feather headpieces, macrame fringe dresses and tops, reversible bomber jackets, rain ponchos for festivals, printed sunnies, silver cuffs and even a hammock! They even had international artists design t-shirt prints for the collection which makes it extra special. To see each piece, click here...there is also a Men's collection. We couldn't be anymore pumped to wear and style the new "FAA" collection and to show you what's hitting the H&M stores at the end of the month!

The best part of this collection is that 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. So far over the past five years, H&M has raised over $6.81 million dollars and this is the coolest collection yet.  The "Fashion Against Aids" collection will be available in 300 stores worldwide in the Divided departments on April 26th, 2012. Fun Fact: Sam tried giving away this jean jacket for the last 10 years and I made sure she didn't! It's one of my favourites because of how worn in it is, and the denim patches on the elbows. It reminds me of the Acne denim Trasher jacket!

Fun Fact: How many motorcycle jackets can you spot? I just got this Acne skirt! I love the pockets, zippers, and buckle around the bottom hem. I am sooo obsessed with the design of it and love all the details. I dig how this skirt is upside down!

Fun Fact: We have always been into Western and thank goodness it has come back in full force! One of my favorite collections ever was the Proenza Pre Fall 2011 which  had a wicked mix of Guatemalan textiles and faux fur. I finally got my hands on this Proenza jacket! Woot Woot!

The Look: Handmade + Crafty

Fun Fact: Today I am wearing a mix and match do it yourself kinda look. The best thing about March is that you can wear all things knit and handmade. I bleached out this vintage denim shirt, and hand knit this hat. Our friend Rose who is super talented (and the cutest) made this jacket in her studio in Alberta. It's so special because it took her 3 months to make it! She tie-dyed silk and weaved it together and then felted on top of it to give it this amazzing crafty look that I love!
