Silence

There was complete silence and tranquility in the park, when we arrived there yesterday. When we left home, the weather was great and the sun shone cheerfully. However, at the time we wanted to take the outfitpictures in the park, the sun was gone and my feet frozen off my body because of the cold. The next time I put on sandals, I pray for better temperatures. ;-) But despite "the feet issue", I enjoyed the calmness of the park. Singing birds as the only sound in the surrounding area relaxes me. I wore a very comfortable and casual outfit so these are probably not the most exciting outfitpics you've seen from me. I hope you like them anyway, because they feature some great items, starting with the sandals I mentioned before ánd my new jacket. Love the fact the latter is exactly the same color as my dark brown leather bag. The hairstyle is very simple to make and it looks nonchalant, but I like it because of the twists and the excess of hairbands.

Celebrate life

I don't think something like being overdressed exists. Someone told me this once, and I totally agree with it: Life's a party, but you have to decorate it yourself. Perhaps I'm taking to decorate too literally in today's outfitpictures, but when I came home after finishing my last exam of the week a few hours earlier, I saw these amazing metallic baloons and I couldn't not take them with me when making pictures of my look of the day.

Casual shizzle

This is the post I talked about yesterday. I just wanted to wear comfortable wear, because the only duty I had that day, was passing an exam. Even though I'm not the type of girl that always wear jeans, I really like these ripped jeggings. Actually, they are one of my favorites. There's a whole story behind them, after my red nailpolish fell on them and my mother - so so so sweet, I'm grateful for ever - scrubbed them day after day untill they were in perfect condition again. They always provoke a reaction like "Aaah, I'm so glad you cleaned them for me!". I styled them with my self-made sheer shirt and a leather jacket. Because it was a bit cold (even though it was the first day of summer) I wore a top beneath the shirt, so that it didn't seem to be transparent. The jacket was one of my obsessions last year (and the year before), and I decided it was a good moment to reinvent its strength.

Love story

It's fascinating to see what the sun's doing with people's feelings. Everybody seems happy and I have to admit that everytime I wake up and I see the sun is shining through the curtains in my room, I feel euphoric and I can't wait to jump out of my bed and start the day. The day becomes even better when I didn't have to much obligations and I'm able to make some outfitpics. These pictures were taken yesterday, the last day of winter. I'm wearing my new jacket. I like the fact it perfectly matches with the shoes. I transformed the dress into a top through some work with safety pins. Finally, you probably noticed I'm wearing these sunglasses in the last three posts. I think I've got a new best friend. We're inseperabe and I totally love them.
