Outfit: "Violating the rules"

I kept myself a few rules in my childhood: Don't talk to creepy strangers, give up your seat when an elderly person don't have a seat in the bus, be polite, say thank you to their parents after playing with your friends and don't wear dark blue and black together. Since I'm eightteen and therefore I'm not a kid anymore by law, I think I'm allowed to violate one of my own childhood-rules. SO I'm wore a dark blue top with a black sweater yesterday.

Haha I'm just joking, but I think it's funny to notice I violate most of the fashion-rules I had (either for about a decade or just for a short period). This color combination is just an example of that phenomenon. The color palette ranges from dark (top) to light (bottom). Love the lace back of the River Island via Dekkerfashion top. I'm still waiting until the weather is nicer, so that I'm able to wear the top on this Outfitters Nation shorts without anything above it. I'm sure you'll like the lace back too!

Top - River Island via Dekkerfashion, Shorts - Outfitters Nation

Escaped from prison

Probably a lot people thought I was escaped from prison, but I totally love this kind of silly outfit. I think the vertical stripes on the tights and the horizontal stripes on the top I wore underneath the crochet sweater, are a nice combination together. I added the colorful bracelets to the look because one I totally love them, and two they gave the look the pop of color that was missing. The sunglasses are very appropriate to this outfit, if you ask me. I'm glad I chose these instead of my so called oversized diva sunglasses this time. What's your opinion?

Unstoppable

I'm still wearing a few layers like tights, tops, etcetera beneath my upper-clothing, but the sun appeared today! Because of the cold that still prevailed, I was in for some nonchalant clothing and this chino and the sweater - yeah, the sweater again - were the result of it. Also I want to let you know that I had a sort of 'inspiration-boost' a few hours ago. I've got a lot of blogposts in mind, starting a post with random  (outfit)pics of last week and a giveaway.

Black swan

I'm certainly not against all black outfits. When I was younger, someone people told me about their opinion about all black outfits. They told me they think people who wear a lot of black clothing are depressed or gothic. I still have no idea where that's comment is about, because I think it looks very chic. All black is definitely not miserable. I especially love black outfits when blonde people are wearing them and when they are composed of items of various materials. Hence my today's outfit. I'm wearing a crochet sweater with leather shorts. Hope you like it. Have a nice weekend, everybody!
