Associations
They say the human brain stores memories in the form of a network of associations, and in my case (as you may expect from a real fashion addict like me) these associations often have to do with clothes. Take this outfit as an example: the blazer strongly reminds me of my trip to London last autumn, the shorts make me think back of a really funny shopping spree, and the two zoppini bracelets are for personal reasons of important value for me. Actually, I associate every garment I own with a moment in my life, a particular thought, or something similar. I guess it's one of the reasons why fashion is such an interesting science - yes, you're reading it correctly: I call it a science.

Breaking the rules
I've always been the type of child that's calling "I want to move abroad when I grow up!". I guess it's one of my biggest dreams to have minimized rainfall all over the time. Hence, I thought it was the perfect winter day last Sunday. We went to a little beach, and all I could do was smiling. The cold was offset by the sun, people were walking their dogs everywhere in the park around this beach, and the sky was clear and bright blue. I wore an outfit that's characterized by the fact it breaks an important rule of fashion (for so far there are any rules in the art of fashion): the use of burgundy and red in one and the same look. I doubted about it briefly, but then I knew for sure: I don't follow certain fashion rules. I think the best thing about dressing yourself is the fact everything is possible. You can create anything exactly like you want it to be, so that the look perfectly reflects your personality. No rules can make me stop from wearing the things I like: fashion is about creativity, so I break the rules!

Walking in the fog
Last Monday was so foggy; it was beautiful to see. The mysticism was almost tangible. Adapted to the weather, I went outside with an outfit without bright colors. I used my BB Dakota lace top as a sort of skirt, and wore several layers above it because it's freezing in Holland this week. However, you won't hear me complain. I'm awfully glad it's not raining! Let's celebrate winter times babeeeee.

Outfit: "The amethyst"
I slept only two hours in the last 36 hours, so you can say I'm pretty tired right now. We arrived in Spain this morning. The weather is great, and I'm glad I'm back in the Costa del Sol. By a strange reason the internet isn't working correctly in our apartment, so I'm sitting on a stone behind the hedges that function as the pool fence while I'm writing this. I probably look like a computer addict or something similar, and people are staring at me because of my, to say the least, interesting seating. But I don't care, I won't let my blogreaders down haha.
I wore this outfit yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised with the nice weather and I took advantage of it by grabbing the asymmetric skirt and the top with the lace back out of my closet. I chose for purple accessoiries, so it was the perfect opportunity to wear my new amethyst necklace. I adore it soooo much.

Outfit: "Graceful skirt and transparent lace"
Dots make an item more unique, in most cases. They are cute, noticeable but not excessive, trendy, ánd vintage looking at the same time. This makes why I love my new skirt from Paper Doll so much - next to the asymmetry and the gorgeous, graceful fabric of it. I styled it with the BB Dakota lace top and my suede sandals. I bought the earrings in a local shop a few days ago. I totally love them. As you might know, I'm a die-hard fan of Twilight and I'm obsessed with The Vampire Diaries at the moment too (actually, I can't stop reading the books). So I'm a vampire-lover and I think the fact the earrings look a bit like vampire tooths, makes some of my adoration for the earrings..
