Outfit: "Shiny shiny"

I want to show you what outfit I was wearing today, but capturing it was a hell of a job. Thank god the sun was shining today, but sun + off-white clothes + white skin + camera isn't a perfect combi, I experienced at first hand (again). Fortunately there are a number of photographs showing the look properly. The outfit is a mix and match of summer and winter. The leather sandals were, together with my high-heeled suede wedges, my best friends during my vacation. However, if there's a possibility, I love wearing them in cold and rainy Holland as well. Another advantage of the Indian summer we're experiencing at the moment. The knitted cardi is part of the winter side of the look. It's very cold in the early morning, so bare-legs and a sheer sleeveless top wasn't an option. To solve the no bare legs problem, I grabbed my shiny gold leggings out of my closet. I'm not sure whether other people think they are a bit exaggerated on a 'normal day', but I think you've to celebrate life, and especially when the sun is shining. Hasta la vista babieeeeees.

Outfit: "Meet the skulls"

Just a simple casual outfit for today's post. I wore this outfit yesterday. Exactly like this (with leather jacket most of the time) when I visited my grandpa in the daytime, and with my suède chunky heels in the evening, when I watched over two children in a hotelsuite so that their parents were able to celebrate a fourty years marriage. I brought the bracelets when I was in Spain, and the two-finger skulls ring is from VJ style. I own an amazing asymmetrical skirt of them too, but because of the bad weather I'm not able to wear it at the moment. I'll show it as soon as possible!

Outfit: "Come with me to the jungle"

Actually, I wore this outfit the evening after my arrival at my holiday destination. I purchased the two bracelets the day before, when we explored the local shops for the first time. The bag can be seen in a lot of outfitposts lately. Even I've got a weakness for bags (that means: addiction to bags), it's the only handbag I took with me. For hand lugage in the plain, I had to make the choice between taking my laptop with me in a large bag and leaving my handbags home or taking my handbags with me and leaving my laptop home. I decided to choose the first option, as I didn't want to keep my blog in silent for two weeks. And wearing this little bag a lot doesn't feel like a punishment, because I love this cute exemplar!

Outfit: "Attracted by gold"

This was the outfit I wore yesterday in the evening. I adore hairdo's with a lot of braids - especially for summer - so I decided to turn my hair into a work of art with a lot of braids. I think the hairstyle finished the chic look of the outfit. I wore a gold top I've owned for at least for years now. I still like it, and I can't imagine I never wore it with these shorts before. I really like the two together. And the shoes.. I divinize them. They are my ultimate favorites in sandals.

The desert girl

I was desperately looking for a cute scarf to use as a headband, but I passed on the fact that I already own one! I created a turban of it, and I hope you will like it. I tried to style a sort of "chic desert-girl" look through the combination of colors and items. The asymmetrical dress is still one of my favorites, and the bag.. I think I've expressed my love for it too much on my blog, haha. The sandals are new favorites. They are from Zalando, and I totally love the high-quality leather they are made of. Do you know Zalando? They sell among a lot other brands Jeffrey Campbell and Friis & Company (without shipping costs). They have amazing shoes and other stuff. I even bought a great shirt to my daddy because of father's day there. But to come back to my sandals. They definitely completed te look, in my opinion. The color of the bracelets clashes with eachother and with the rest of the outfit, but I think that gives a fun vibe to the ensemble!

Ik was wanhopig op zoek naar een leuk sjaaltje om als hoofdband te gebruiken, maar ik ging voorbij aan het feit dat ik er allang eentje bezit! Ik heb een tulband van hem gemaakt, en ik hoop dat jullie hem leuk vinden. Ik heb geprobeerd om een soort van "chic desert-girl" look te creëren door middel van de combinatie van kleuren en items. De kleuren van de armbandjes vloeken met elkaar en met de kleuren van de rest van de outfit, maar ik denk dat dat wel een leuke vibe aan het geheeltje geeft!
