Cut-out dress on NYE
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I had an amazing New Year's Eve with the people I love. I wore a black cut-out dress with sheer sleeves and pearls on the front of it. Though I don't wear the dress often, I really like it. It's perfect for celebrations and parties. It looks a bit creasy on the pictures, but I can ensure you: this dress ROCKS in real life!

Mysticism
Wow, I almost can't believe I wore this look four days ago. Time flies! Recently, I totally love styling outfits consistent with my ideas about the time of the year. That's why you see lots of sequins, golden items, and sparkles on the blog lately. This is no different this time, but I added another element appropriate to the holidays to the look: mysticism. In my opinion, the end of the year is mostly marked by cosiness and fun. However, it's also a time full of mysticism. And let it be I think I own a pair of tights that are the embodiment of mysticism: My Henry Holland tights! They give some exposure, but not to much; They are mysterious black, but there's also a gold detail on them; And last but not least.. They are perfect in combination with my new dress from Shoppalu. It's from their vintage section and it's officially a top, but it's big enough for me to wear it as a dress (which is a huge yaaaay! because I think it's even better as a dress).

Walking on golden shoes
Christmas shopping has to be done in an appropriate outfit, if you ask me. And do you think there's any color more appropriate to Christmas than gold? No, there isn't (if you ask me, again). I have to confess I changed my black lace-up boots into these little treasures after the shopping, but the reason for that was that I wanted to make my entrance with these shoes later on the day. Gorgeous shoes deserve a gorgeous entrance on a special occasion, don't you think?
The jacket I wore is from Vivi Clothes. They sell a diverse collection of clothes (and more), but I think this jacket suits my style the best. It's great for the party season, because the bow on the front makes it definitely an eye-catcher, but it's also appropriate as daily wear. Opinions, pleaaaase! :)

Golden delight
Can't describe the feeling I had when I put my hands on these amazing loafers a few hours ago. In my opinion, they are incredible. And they came exactly on time, because we also decorated the Christmas tree today (and let it be we've got gold baubles so my day was marked by gold, gold and another gold).

Suede and leather, I love you
After a hectic week, it's nice to dress more comfortable on Saturday. And this is exactly what I did today when wearing my beige/gold sweater and leatherlook leggings (available here). To spice up the outfit, I decided to combine these items with my beloved black ankle boots and... my new leather vs suede bag! I tweeted about this new acquisition when I purchased it last week, but today was the first day I took it out. I hope you're just as thrilled about it as I am, hehe. ;)

Outfit: "Shiny shiny"
I want to show you what outfit I was wearing today, but capturing it was a hell of a job. Thank god the sun was shining today, but sun + off-white clothes + white skin + camera isn't a perfect combi, I experienced at first hand (again). Fortunately there are a number of photographs showing the look properly. The outfit is a mix and match of summer and winter. The leather sandals were, together with my high-heeled suede wedges, my best friends during my vacation. However, if there's a possibility, I love wearing them in cold and rainy Holland as well. Another advantage of the Indian summer we're experiencing at the moment. The knitted cardi is part of the winter side of the look. It's very cold in the early morning, so bare-legs and a sheer sleeveless top wasn't an option. To solve the no bare legs problem, I grabbed my shiny gold leggings out of my closet. I'm not sure whether other people think they are a bit exaggerated on a 'normal day', but I think you've to celebrate life, and especially when the sun is shining. Hasta la vista babieeeeees.

Never showed material
I'm still on vacation and I've to confess I truly believe this place is paradise itself. The weather, the people, the culture.. Everything is as it should be. I'll fully enjoy every moment untill I have to leave this beautiful country. But before I show you some holidaypictures, I've got some never showed material for you. *drum rolls*
The never showed material consists of pictures of a few outfits I wore in the last two and half months. The looks vary from androgyne to indian summer to glamour with gold, and so on. 1) The first look I wore with a jeans jacket resting on my shoulders - very Parisian -, 2) the second outfit roughly consists of a Prada bag, DIY sheer shirt, leather shorts and Spijkers en Spijkers glasses, 3) the third one is just a simple summerlook, with bright pink strapless top and oversized sunnies, 4) the fourth outfit I called indian summer because of the headband, and the white asymmetric dress, 5) and last but not least the fifth look is a glamourous one with a lot of golden jewelry, leather sandals, oversized sunglasses and a white shirt-dress.

Golden twinkles
I hate it when you've got less than ten minutes to select your outfit for the day. Lately, it happens most of the time when I've to go to university. I definitely prefer to check the outfit in front of the mirror to see if it suits properly, but the time didn't allow me to do this little check this morning. Happily, I grabbed items that matches really well together, so there was no big problem for this time. As you probably will notice when you see the pictures, I'm into gold at the moment. Presumably I was infected by the royal color by seeing the Royal Wedding two weeks ago..
ps if you're worried whether the sunglasses are glued to my head, don't be afraid. I'm just hopelessly devoted to them.
