Trendy meets preppy

While I was extremely hurried, I grabbed some of my favorite items to create my Saturday-look. After an early-morning visiting, we went shopping and took some outfitpictures. I guess my look is a bit trendy meets preppy. On the one hand, there are the checked scarf, the color combinations, and the blazer; and on the other hand I chose the tightly-fitting leggings, trendy bracelets, and the bright blue booties. Love the fact the boots are such eye-catchers. Lots of people told me that, when they're looking for me, it's easy to find me because of the dazzling color of my shoes. I take it as a compliment, I love having unique footwear. :)

The colors of love

Happy Valentine's Day, lovelies! For those who celebrate it, I hope you had a wonderful day and I'd love to hear more details/gossip about it - if you want to share it of course. ;-) I wore this outfit last Sunday, but because of its colors I thought it would be more than appropriate to share it today. Honestly, I don't think I can come up with a color that reflects love so well as red and pink do.

Frosty the snowman

It's been a while since my latest post, but I'm back (and I won't leave you again). The first snow of the year has fallen today. The landscape turned into a white wonderland in no time this afternoon, so there was no opportunity for me to change my heels into more snow-proof shoes. I wore a combination of my current favorite items; you definitely can say I merged with my Tommy toggle coat, preppy scarf and bag. And what's a better choice than wearing a good pair of jeans in cold winterdays? You're right: there's no better choice.. ;-) Have a nice weekend everybody, I'm going to enjoy my snowball fight (so watch out haha) xoxox

Innocent soul

I love burgundy shades. I think they are très chic, and I discovered they look even better in combination with beige and light brown. The dress I wore today is way too cute, and even though it's not the best choice when taking into account the temperature at the moment, I felt so happy in it because it's simply a great piece of clothing. I added some leather (the Tommy Hilfiger bag & belt) and suede (the boots) to the look to satisfy my craving for the use of different fabrics when styling an outfit, and to dot the i's and cross the t's: I made a bun on top of my head and tied a cute scarf around my wrist. An outfit perfect for an innocent soul, don't you think? ;-)

I already showed you my Tommy Hilfiger purchases in yesterday's post, but here are the first outfitpictures with some of them: the coat, the scarve, and the bag. I felt extraordinary happy when wearing them for the first time. They reflect my current style so perfectly. They are the main reason I want the winter to continue for a while (preferred without rain).

My mother and I had a wonderful day last Friday. We left home early to start our shopping day at the PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. It's a great (probably the best) shopping street for luxury brands in Amsterdam. I bought so many amazing items at the Tommy Hilfiger store, and I can't wait to show them to you! I'll post my first outfit with some of the items tomorrow, but for now just a sneak preview of my new wintercoat, two wool scarves, burgundy cowleather bag, dark red leather belt, and leather wallet. I feel like I'm in seventh heaven, I totally love my new purchases! What's your first impression of them?
