. . . while can never resist a towering pastry stand, especially one that is filled with beautifully decorated and delectable pastries, it is the tiny flower arrangements that have fallen quite in love with—little sprigs of pale pink hydrangeas placed in sterling silver egg cups—isn't it a most lovely idea? . . . and in perfect time for easter . . .

. . . and while on the topic of tabletops and bouquets, very much like the thought of arranging little bouquets, whether fragrant white freesias or lilac-coloured roses or palest yellow tulips, at each place setting at springtime soirées, bouquets wrapped in lengths of satin ribbon and pinned with pretty little rhinestones or iridescent mother-of-pearl . . .

Pastels

I showed you my new top in yesterday's post, and here's the first outfit with it. Like many of you, I adore pastels so much and I felt so happy that I was finally able to wear an outift fully composed of soft colors (except the tights, but I think nobody will blame me that I don't go bare-legged outside when it's just twelve degrees). The shades are so romantic, feminine and enchanting, and they make me feel like I'm the main character in a fairytale. Capturing my look in a park was almost naturally, for that reason.

Preparing my spring look

It finally happened: I bought the first items to create my spring 2012 look. It's about a trenchcoat and a floral printed shirt. I totally love the soft colors of them, and the fabric they are made of is exactly like I want it to be. I already took outfitpics with the shirt, because the weater was beyond amazing today. . . . perhaps it is the utter romance of it all, or the intoxicating concoction paillettes, lace and ruffles, but whatever the reason may be, am always awaiting, with wild anticipation, for the next elie saab collection, which never fails to enchant with its day dresses made for dreaming and evening gowns made for dancing in the moonlight, and never, ever fails to completely take one's breath away . . .
