Earmuffs and gossip girl

I'm having a great weekend. One of the reasons for that: A gossip girl marathon! It's so refreshing to have a weekend off after months of non stop working on various things, and I try to enjoy it as much as possible. I know it's a shame I haven't seen gossip girl before, but now I have, I became totally addicted to it. However, besides the fact it took me some effort to turn off the DVD player, I'm here now and I want to show you the outfit I wore yesterday. It's very winter proof again, because of the extremely low temperatures we're experiencing in Holland at the moment. I changed my beloved grey coat (previous post) into my faux fur coat and went outside while being amazed at the stability that the platform shoes gave to me when I walked through the snow. So even though an outfit like this doesn't look like the perfect outfit to conquer cold and snowy days, it definitely is.

Outfit: "The blue wonder"

First things first: I'm sorry for the lack of replies to your wonderful comments. I ensure you I read all of them with the greatest pleasure every time, but as I possibly wrote before, I'm terribly busy these weeks. I've barely got the time to post outfits on a regular base, but when I succeed in doing that, I unfortunately don't have the opportunity to get back to all of you. I'll try to reply as soon as I can, but if it takes too long, please don't be disappointed in me and you have to know that I really appreciate all  of your reactions. It sounds cliche, but they make me smile over and over again.

Then shortly about the outfit: I think the blue wonder does exactly describe how I feel about the blazer. It's currently the best piece of my wardrobe and I'm in love with it. The fabric, the shape, the color.. Everything about it is perfect.

Outfit: "One with mother nature"

Landscapes with a lot of rocks and caves are always very fascinated to me. So when we discovered this awesome location a stone's throw from the shopping district where I've come for more than a decade now, it isn't surprising I was sooooo excited. And the feeling of excitement went stronger by the minute, because a legion of muscular boys with bare torsos surrounded the photoshoot. I don't know why they were there (training for something, I guess), but all in all the place sounds like a true paradise, don't you think?

The zoo lady

The thought suddenly came to me this morning: This outfit would be great for visiting the zoo. I think the leopards probably would be confused by seeing my legs, but it would feel like home - the forests of Russia - for them. Haha my apologizes, my creativity/fantasy goes crazy again. But nevertheless, I want to go to the zoo. And I want to go there in this outfit!

Feel the asymmetry

Before you continue reading, you have to do one thing. Check out this dress. If you love to buy pieces that are investments - that you can wear in a million different ways - you have to think about this one. I wear it as a skirt today, but it's also wearable as for example a dress (of course) with or without belt, with the longer side on the front or on the sides and even as shorts (yeah, I'm serious speaking, I'll show it in another outfitpost in the future). I like to combinate a white skirt with a top made of chic material - silk in this case - and I deliberately didn't choose for a bright colored top. Hope you like the result.

On top of the world

If you see the rain and feel the cold in Holland today, you can't imagine these pictures were taken yesterday. But it's true. I'm wearing Outfitters Nation ripped jeans. I didn't use to wear jeans often, but since I got in touch with this brand, I love them! I think these ripped ones are totally stunning. And the color is also perfect for sunny days. Of course you can run to the shops and buy a pair if you want to experience what I experience when I'm wearing these jeans. However, what's another possibility: If you like their facebook page, you're able to win some great stuff - like a year of free jeans or something like that - from time to time. I started a couple of do it yourself projects recently, and this clutch is the result of one of them. I'm crazy about simple, oversized leather clutches at the moment. And acting like a wanabe designer is one of my favorite pursuits the last time. I ensure you  you'll see a lot more do it yourself stuff in the future.
