Retrospect (PART I)

Hiyaaaaa, there I am again with a new blogpost. The word "new" in this context is probably a bit questionable, because this post is a retrospect on the last year. It's hard to imagine I didn't have a blog over just one year ago. Blogging definitely became my lifestyle, and I'm glad I started the blog-adventure last summer. But enough sentimental stuff. You all know I love you and I'm so happy that you're following my blog, soooo let's talk about the post: If you like the idea, I think this one will be the first of a series of retrospect-posts.These looks are pretty recent, so probably you'll still remember a few of them. Outfit: "The jacket"

I chose today's outfit based on my awesome new jacket. I'm hopelessly in love with it. It's pretty cold right now, so a few layers beneath the jacket couldn't hurt. I prefer layering with knitwear most of the time, so above my neutral colored skirt and basic top, I wore a knitted and shredded top. Even though older generations probably can't understand why wearing "damaged" clothes like shredded tops and ripped jeans, I think that type of clothing is so cool. It gives the perfect so-called edge to an outfit. I'll show the top more clear in a future outfitpost.

Outfit: "Layering on Friday"

Playing with sheer fabrics to create an interesting outfit is one of my favorite things to do lately. I love the challenge to develop an elegant look with it. I used various layers for today's outfit. The first one is the Lingerie Please bra, above it the sheer top, over that a long vest and the last layer is my new perfect-shaped Outfitters Nation jacket. The TOD's bag doesn't need further explanation. Y'all know I'm it's lover.

Outfit: "Nude shades"

It's the second consecutive day without rain. Definitely a highlight in the Dutch weather of the last two weeks. I'm wearing my VJ style asymmetric skirt, nude top and the sandals you've probably seen on the blog before. I got the Roberto Martin sunglasses from my brother during our vacation, so sweet. They are perfect. Love the quality, the view through them, the shape of the frame ánd the brown color of them. I decorated the TOD's bag with a pleated scarf that's from my mother.

I think the neon pink bra underneath the top gives the decent ensemble a little playful touch, without being too much visible. Used the two-finger ring with skulls on it and the vampire tooth earrings for the same reason. The ring is also from VJ style and I recommend visiting the shop. They sell great clothing, shoes, accessoiries, etcetera. And when your financial situation doesn't allow you to buy designer pieces at the moment, they sell stunning pieces which are similar to the designer's (with quick delivery).

Glittering obsession

This is by far my favorite outfit of this week. That's mostly because I'm totally obsessed with the sequined top. The quality, the sheer fabric, the color.. I think it's perfect. It's so chic, I never wore something by Vera Mont before but I'm a fan from now on. I love the fact it's transparent, but because of the fabric and the sequins there's nothing you don't want to show/see visible.

Also I love the bracelet. It's the same color as the top, as you can see. I totally adore it. It's made of freshwater pearls and swarovski, and I love the luxury of it.

I got the jeans three and a half years ago, when I turned fifteen. I still like it. The color, the shape of it and of course the silver details on the pockets on the back. I think Pepe Jeans did a great job when they manufactured these ones. You're already familiar with the TOD's bag and the lovely lovely sandals, so those don't need further explanation, I think.

Peacock feathers and the lovely TOD'S bag

The summer break is getting closer, and the countdown has officially started (Honestly: to me, counting down the days until the summer break has started a few weeks, uhmmm, a few months ago haha. To be precisely, in February when we booked our vacation). Like I wrote, let's say, a million times before, I can't wait until it's that far. I need to think about a way to get my daily posts on my blog, but I'll figure out something, so that will be allright. However, before Im going to paradise, there are a couple of very busy weeks for me to wait. It's like all the deadlines that are possible (university, driving lessons, etcetera, etcetera), have to be finished in the upcoming six weeks. Buttttttt, the better will be the summer break! I hope you'll enjoy these pictures. If you're following me for a longgg time, you've seen this TOD'S bag before. I really love it, you can say.
